## Ravens Reunion With Calais Campbell Fell Through At Trade Deadline
Sources say the Ravens expressed interest in acquiring Campbell from the Jacksonville Jaguars, who were reportedly willing to part ways with the 36-year-old pass rusher. Baltimore was looking for a veteran presence to bolster their defensive line, which has struggled with injuries this season.
However, negotiations between the two teams stalled over the asking price. The Jaguars reportedly wanted a mid-round draft pick in exchange for Campbell, while the Ravens were only willing to offer a late-round pick.
Campbell, who spent six seasons with the Ravens from 2010 to 2015, was reportedly disappointed by the failed trade.
"I would have loved to come back to Baltimore," Campbell told reporters. "But it's not up to me."
With the trade deadline passed, the Ravens will have to look elsewhere for defensive line help. They are reportedly interested in signing free agent defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh.
The failed reunion with Campbell is a setback for the Ravens, who are now 3-5 on the season. However, the team still has time to turn things around and make a push for the playoffs.
